Getting Started
How do I join Aire TC? ▼
You can sign up directly through our online portal — just click the "Sign Up" button at the top of the page. You can purchase a trial session or set up a monthly auto-renewing payment. All new gymnasts start in a recreational session appropriate for their age group.
What ages can join Aire TC? ▼
Our minimum age is 5 years old. Our structured sessions are aimed at children and young people up to 18 years old. Adults interested in trampolining should visit our 1:1 Sessions / Small Group page for suitable options.
Can my child try a session before committing? ▼
Yes - new members begin with a two-week trial, which can be purchased through our online portal. This gives your child the opportunity to try our sessions and decide whether they would like to continue before you need to commit to ongoing sessions or British Gymnastics membership.
Do I need any experience to join? ▼
Absolutely not. Our recreational sessions are open to all abilities, from complete beginners to more experienced gymnasts. Our coaches assess each gymnast individually and work at the right level for them.
Sessions & Attendance
What should my child wear? ▼
Gymnasts should wear comfortable, fitted clothing — leggings or joggers and a fitted t-shirt or leotard work well. Loose clothing, zips, buttons and jewellery should be avoided as they can be a safety hazard. Gymnasts will need socks — no shoes on the trampoline.
What if my child misses a session? ▼
Monthly payments are calculated based on the number of sessions in that month, so if your child misses a session it is not carried over. We recommend contacting us in advance if you know your child will be absent regularly, and we can discuss the options available to you.
Can my child attend more than one session per week? ▼
Yes, and it’s something we actively encourage. We offer a 25% discount on any additional sessions gymnasts attend, which is a great way to accelerate progress.
Are parents and spectators allowed to watch? ▼
Yes, parents and spectators are welcome to watch sessions. We ask that you remain in the designated spectator area and follow any venue-specific guidelines. Photography of your own child is generally fine but please be mindful of other gymnasts — please see our Photography Policy for full details.
Fees & Payments
How much do sessions cost? ▼
Recreational sessions are £7.75 for a 1-hour session or £9.70 for a 1-hour 15-minute session. We also offer a sibling discount of £2.00 per month and a 25% discount for attending more than one session per week. Full pricing details are on the Recreational page.
How does monthly payment work? ▼
Monthly payments are calculated based on the number of sessions in that particular month. For example, if there are 4 Mondays in a month you will be charged for 4 sessions. Payments are taken automatically via our secure online portal LoveAdmin.
Do sessions run through the school holidays? ▼
Yes, they do. We are closed on Bank Holidays and over Christmas. During the summer holidays, gymnasts are able to use their allocated number of sessions flexibly across the summer break.
Is British Gymnastics membership required? ▼
Yes — all gymnasts are required to hold British Gymnastics membership by their third week of attending. This costs approximately £25.00 per year on a rolling 12-month subscription and is taken out directly with British Gymnastics. It provides personal accident insurance and is a condition of our affiliation to the National Governing Body.
What is the club membership charge? ▼
Your second monthly payment will include a pro-rata club membership charge of £1.90 per remaining month to 31 March, taken as a single payment. For example, if your second payment falls in November, the charge would be £1.90 × 5 = £9.50. Club membership then runs from 1 April to 31 March each year.
Competitive Squads
How does my child get into a competitive squad? ▼
All gymnasts begin in our recreational sessions. Squad places are invitation-only — when our coaches identify that a gymnast has the skills, work ethic and commitment for squad training, they will be invited to join. The best thing your child can do is attend regularly, work hard and listen to their coach.
Can I ask for my child to be considered for the squad? ▼
You are welcome to contact us to discuss your child's progress. However, squad selection is always at the discretion of our coaching team and based on what is right for the gymnast. We will never rush a gymnast into squad training before they are ready.
Safety & Safeguarding
Are your coaches DBS checked? ▼
Yes. All coaches and staff working with gymnasts are DBS checked and hold a current British Gymnastics safeguarding qualification. Senior staff are also First Aid qualified.
What is your safeguarding policy? ▼
We take safeguarding very seriously and follow British Gymnastics policies in full. Our full Safeguarding Policy is available on our Policies page. If you have a safeguarding concern, please contact our Welfare Officer or British Gymnastics directly.
Is trampolining safe? ▼
Trampolining is a safe sport when practised under proper supervision, with the correct equipment and a structured coaching approach. All our sessions use full safety matting around every trampoline, and our coaches follow British Gymnastics guidelines for progressive skill development. Gymnasts are only asked to work on skills that are appropriate to their current ability and are not permitted to take part in dares, acts of daring, or unsafe attempts beyond their level.
