Who We Are

ABOUT
AIRE TC

Founded in 2003, Aire TC has grown into one of East Kent’s most established trampoline clubs, with ambitions to secure a permanent home of our own.

Our History

Aire Trampoline Club was founded in 2003 and has developed and trained many trampoline gymnasts throughout its history. The club initially operated out of a school hall, building its membership from zero to 20 gymnasts.

In 2009, the club leased a commercial unit on the Wincheap Industrial Estate in Canterbury, operating there until February 2020. Due to the increasing costs of running a commercial facility, the club returned to operating from school halls — allowing it to keep session costs affordable for families.

Aire Trampolining Club is a non-profit community organisation, now operating from three locations in Kent: Canterbury, Dover and Sandwich. The club owns 14 Olympic-sized trampolines, including 6 Eurotramp Ultimate Trampolines.

As a club we are passionate about providing each gymnast the opportunity to participate in a supportive, safe and rewarding environment that emphasises fun, enjoyment and skill learning at a level that fits their interest and ability. We are affiliated to British Gymnastics and have adopted its policies for safeguarding.

Our Coaches

All coaching staff are DBS checked and hold a current safeguarding qualification. Senior staff are also First Aid qualified. Many of our coaches came through our own competitive squads — a pathway we are proud to continue developing.

Director of Coaching

Dexter Millen

Dexter holds a Level 4 British Gymnastics Coaching Qualification and was awarded the British Gymnastics Award of Merit. Having competed at a young age himself, he now shares his passion by inspiring young gymnasts to achieve their potential in this Olympic sport.
